Well my trial account ended and I finally caved in. I am now officially one of the many to have succumbed to the disease known as:
I have to admit, I'm enjoying it much more than I thought I would. This is probably due in part to the fact that my dear husband
wannabegamedev has brought his low level undead character out of retirement to play with me. I have been thinking that we don't spend enough time together recently but I'm not sure this is the way that we should be doing it! >_<
The ultimate hilarity occurred last night though. Hubby and I were questing together with one of my guild mates when lo and behold my father-in-law signed on with his level 64 character and quickly helped us wipe out a couple quests. I had a good laugh over first introducing my guildmate to my husband and then later...oh, btw, this is my father-in-law. (Not to mention my brother-in-law is also on this server, but I haven't played with him yet.) Just seems surreal to be playing WoW with your inlaws. I guess I should be thankful I've got such awesome inlaws.
Oh yeah, and I asked hubby "where'd your dad come up with his character name? Was it one of those random generated ones?" (Ogremango) "Oh no", he says..."he's been using that name for RPG's since the 80's when he was on the comodore 64"...... :o
My family is so cool. :)
