interesting.
After spending a good deal of time with a very good looking man (who was also very drunk), I've realized something(s).
1. I like having friends who are my own age. Not to say that I don't love my older friends, but I like being irresponsible sometimes. And the older friends tend to be very responsible (as they should.)
2. I have absolutely no attraction to men who are "sensitive" or "able to somewhat understand women." None whatsoever. Ноль. Why, you ask? Because I find them to be boring, and our sense of humor is never quite alike.
3. Although I have been partying a lot lately (more than all of last year combined...), come July 15th, it's down to business. First, I'll get all of the brochures from the schools I'm looking at applying to. I'll get 10 brochures (from different schools), but i'll only apply to 5 schools. While i'm waiting for those to arrive, I'll be touching up my old Shostakovich essay, to prepare to send it to Jeffy. I'll then send it to him, and while he's working on that, I'll begin my personal statement. By this time, it will probably be around the middle of August. Next, I'll do all the applications, and hopefully, with a little luck, I'll have applied to all of the schools by the end of September. I think that's a reasonable goal. And that way, it's out of the way with plenty of time before the end of Fall semester.
4. I can't handle a relationship right now. Flings are good for fun, but nothing substantial. And also because I don't want to be a grown-up. I'll pay my bills, but that's all.
