oh the fishes...
I went to the Musee Oceanographique (the aquarium) in Monaco today. It was run by Jacques Cousteau for seventeen years, and you can really tell. It is FANTASIC. I took more pictures there than I did in the Louvre. (But they didn't let me take too many pictures in the Louvre anyway...)
When I came back to the Hostel for dinner, they were playing Finding Nemo (in french) and so it was just an overall fishy day! And by the way, Finding Nemo in french is funnier than the original...hard to believe, I know...but ESPECIALLY the part when Dory speaks whale. I think I was the only one who was really laughing, but it was still absoulutely hilarious.
I haven't decided on what I think of the Hostel yet. It's a super friendly place, but it's full of the same people I was trying to leave behind--the college partyiers. Seriously, they came all this way, just to get trashed in a foriegn country. No wonder the Europeans hate us so much. (I wish they'd give me a chance though...)
Tomorrow I'm going down to the Vieux Nice (Old Nice) and then the beach again. I really enjoy being at the beach. :) My skin, however, does not. I've been applying sunscreen like mad though. Still getting pink, but trying not to. Oh well! How many times in your life do you get to be tinted pink by the Mediterranian sun?
