Bafflement
Ahhh the weekend! Finally. This week has taken so long to go by, made twice as long by the late nights writing essays and preparing for presentations. Why is it that teachers always set the most amount of homework all in the same week? I think it's a conspiracy.
I have now had a shamefully long lie-in and feel all the better for it. My next move is to have a shower, and then I should feel totally refreshed. :)
I am slightly baffled this morning though. I got up to find no less than 11 messages in by inbox; 9 of them were reviews for my latest SG fic, Get Carter. NINE of them. Since yesterday. This is a ridiculous amount of feedback - I think I'm on the brink of overdose! The first chapter isn't even the main plot, it's just the scene-setter. People seem to like having action straight at the beginning though. *mental note to do that again*
As I'm still in denial that it was good enough to warrant that amount of FB in such a short amount of time, I'd like to profusely thank helent for being my beta on this.
