I heard the most beautiful thing ever tonight. After most everyone had cleared out (there were about 1500 people left in the student section), and after the band had played the obligatory "Hey Bama" song, they struck up the opening notes of the alma mater. I haven't heard it all season. Then after the opening, they just dropped their instruments and we all sang it a capella. It was literally breathtaking. I loved it. It made me realize how much I will miss the games and especially the student section after I graduate in a couple of years.
And as a side note, my mom told me to hurry the hell up and graduate because Bama hasn't won an Iron Bowl since the year before I started college. :)
