Still with the 20 questions

We were I believe on question 13:

14. What do you think of the new Doctor? I kind of miss the previous one... he was so cool.
And as for me, it's been a long weekend. 12 hours in the lab on Friday, 11 hours in the lab on Saturday, 6 hours in the lab on Sunday (really I couldn't take it any more so I came home to play DDR and FFXI). My antibody stain didn't work (again) but this time I think because I simply had the wrong part of the embryo. I will cut some new embryos and hopefully get pretty pictures before my lab meeting on Wednesday. It looks like my DNA for probe making is super pure so I'll start on the transcription reaction tomorrow. A sharp Fgf10 probe would be perfect for my committee meeting. I found a Japanese word processor this morning. I was happy to find a freeware one instead of NJStar which is $200. It was fun playing around with the mechanics of Japanese as well as trying to remember some of the kanji I have forgotten. (But it makes me wonder, why is there a language with so many different ways to count a series depending on the identity of said series?) I can't really say that I'm happy right now, I feel a lot like Dagny Taggart (and I guess who doesn't in grad school). Actually I feel rather like the world has abandoned me (and I guess in a way, my world has). But mostly I'm just trying to stay busy, it's about all I can do for now.
