To be honest I find this most frustrating because I have held office hours every other week this semester (monday office hours never seem to hit a holiday lol) and rarely have I had anyone show up. We've had a review session each Wednesday for these kids to attend, they have not had any new material since the last day of class (last Tuesday) and the stuff this student wants help on is several weeks old. These kids tend to forget that the TA's are also students and so no... i'm not going to stop studying to spend two hours explaining this stuff. If i didn't have exams of my own... i guess... but fact is that I need to pass my own exams way more than I need to be a good TA.
