Poetry Business
Just finished up the first draft of the poem for the Speculators (which is the SF poetry group that I belong to along with some other people here on LiveJournal) that I won't be bringing to our meeting on Tuesday night. The subject is the experience of a prisoner who is serving a life sentence, an endless life sentence because he can never die.
I also prepared a pair of poems for e-mail submission to a pair of different markets. I've sold work to both of the places that I sent to before, but you never know what the response to a piece is going to be, at least I don't and I get that reply saying either they wanted or they don't.
