"Right," I say, "sorry." Wink at Dom, kiss Dom, then stand up with him. "Sean," I whisper, then bend down on Sean's opposite side to speak into his ear while Dom does the same to Elijah. "I think Elijah fancies you, too, so don't worry. You should ask him if you guys can French kiss again, since you kind of got interrupted this morning."

Sean recoils like I've just threatened Frodo. "Billy, thanks for the advice, but I'm not-- I mean, I know I tried to help you out with Dom, but-- this is Elijah we're talking about, here!"

I nod, because yes, we are talking about Elijah, aren't we? And I quirk up my lips and look over at Dom and Elijah, who are staring at us. Dom is smirking, but that's a given.

"Come on, Dom!" I bounce, grabbing his arm and slowly pulling him away. "Let's go French kiss some more; it's such great fun!"

"You said it, Bill!" Dom responded loudly. "Cor, I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't French kiss my best mate every five minutes."

"Yeah, it's like falling asleep on the biggest, softest feather bed that was ever made." Kiss; on the cheek.

"Like sleeping in eeeeevery day."

We slip out of sight, then silently snicker to each other while positioning ourselves behind some of the canteen's large potted plants. It's easy to watch Sean and Elijah from here, though hard to hear them for all the kind of bustling going on everywhere.

So of course, Elijah has already scooted over to Sean's side and put down his sandwich and now they're having a really intense-looking conversation with a lot of hand gestures on behalf of Sean. Then Elijah looks around them-- probably to see if anyone is watching them. At least, you'd think that's why. Apparently, he's satisfied and looks back at Sean.

Then he kisses Sean. On the lips! And it's French.

Definitely French.

Dom and I collapse in a fit of laughter for... for no real reason, I suppose, it was just a nice thing to have happen, you know? But we calm quickly because there's Sean breaking the kiss-- not in an unkindly way, of course-- and then he's absolutely beaming at Elijah and shaking his head, kind of like in a I-love-you-so-much way. But Sean does that all the time, so.

Then Sean pecks Elijah on the mouth and gives him this huge hug. Elijah won't have any of that, though-- he wants another kiss, so he goes for one and-- yeah. That's quite sweet.

Well, and then Dom's giving me another kiss, and who am I choose voyeurism over this?
