It's the little things...
Yesterday was a very crazy, busy, and rather stressful day for me. I had an exam, a paper due, all my classes to attended, meetings with the FC coordinator and then my staff, etc. I had this resident that wanted me to come hang out if I had enough time, but I really didn't think that I would. I ended up deciding that I could work on some "appreciation" things for my staff members and hang out at the same time, and I did. And suddenly I had to take a step back from my day and realize that all the craziness of school and my job are worth it when my resident tells me that she looks up to me and that I'm like her hero. Things like that make all the craziness worth it.
