I met this ...woman the other night. Gabe took me to this club I don't own clothing expensive enough to attend - where he picked up twins, I add for posterity - and a slightly disturbing string of coincidence happened involving the internet, which I never use anyway. It was like something fated, and I deleted that the first few times I typed it because it looked so ridiculous.
Nothing happened, not really, but it was close enough...I can't take that risk--but I could, couldn't I? I spend my life trying to secure safety and stability for myself and my father and Emma and the rest of the people I love while something underneath is screaming for chaos, something laughing in the dark. I felt that with her, and I haven't in a long time. I take such pains to forget...
It's a shame. I think would have liked being her friend.
