(Wrath's eyes fix onto the Dreamberry as soon as the screeching starts. It appears to be an animal, or a chimera, or a splitting headache that enrages him to no end. Normally, he does not kill docile animals, but this thing is far too loud. Livid, Wrath stalks through the snow until he FINDS the patch of black ice where the screeching creature is caught. Without a word he draws his sword and is about to cut the animal in two.)

And almost decides not to kill the monkey--but then it continues to screech at the top of its lungs. He raises his sword and starts to swing downwards at the monkey, aiming to bisect him from the forehead down in two halves. What will the creature do now?)

(The enemy is no longer the enemy, as the monkey again looks pleading and terrified. Wrath halts his sword in mid-swing. He is livid at himself for not deiivering the blow, and glares poison at the monkey.)

(Wrath sends his shriveling glare into the monkey, his teeth clenched in fury at this uncharacteristic reluctance to kill an enemy who has suddenly become docile. He should have cut open the monkey thousands of times by now. To have drawn back at the last second..unthinkable. Saying nothing more, in another fury, and his head still on fire from the still-potent echoes of the monkey's earlier screeching, he brings down his sword again into the ice, slashing the ice around the monkey's leg.)
