Hello Friends,

August marks twelve issues, and one year since we established ourselves on the online music and film magazine circuit. It's been a wild ride, with lots of great interviews and festival experiences, not to mention the good fun of sharing our insights on music and film with our readers. We look forward to many more years ahead. Some exciting content is to come in the future, so stay tuned.

For now, visit www.beingtheremag.com and check out our August issue. This month's features include interviews up-and-coming Canadian band Easily Amused and talented British singer-songwriter Richard Hawley, a debate between Nathan Williams and freelancer Michael Allen on George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, Zayne Reeves' 25 Best Country Albums of All-Time, and a 30th anniversary retrospective on Bruce Springsteen's Born To Run album.

Columns this month include content on Peter Sellers, Dr. Feelgood, and Dolemite, and much more! Also be sure to check out our latest reviews and editorials.

This month's contest was designed in the hope of turning two of our readers on to two great new albums. Everyone on our mailing list has automatically been entered to win a copy of Easily Amused's Simple Stuff and Richard Hawley's Coles Corner! Winners will be announced on August 26th. Who knows? It could be you!

If you thought year one of Being There was cool, year two will surely knock your socks off. So if you haven't already, tell your friends! And stay tuned for more excitement from Being There Magazine.

Kind Regards,
Being There Staff
