She pulled me to a sitting position and pulled off the blindfold.
“Hi!” she said loudly, to awaken me from trance.
I opened my eyes and looked into her loving smile. “I’ve been on a trip and came back.”
She laughed, “Where did you go?”
“I don’t know yet.”
More laughter. “You are a nice man.”
I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and get dressed.
She offered me cognac or juice. I asked for a glass of water.
“Come sit down, I want to talk with you.”
We moved a small table, and sat on her couch. She rested her long graceful legs on my lap. I continued massaging her feet and sent reiki energy into her souls and ankles. She referred to my email. I said that I wondered if I had written too much. She assured me that she enjoys reading what people write. It was obvious that she had not only read everything I had written in the email, but that she comprehended it with her great ability to perceive.
She said that it was a very good session, that there had been some time passed since she enjoyed a session so much. I was warmed by that knowledge.
We talked of many things - of animal guides, our teachers, fun things to do in Atlanta. She told me of her German heritage and her experience of living so many years in the United States, but mostly she asked questions and listened to me, genuinely curious about my answers.
At one point I said, “I think my guardian spirits throughout my life and my accelerated growth in consciousness in my 48th year of life have finally made me ready to receive the lessons from others I encounter.” She replied that when the time comes and we are ready the resources appear.
We talked about pain and pleasure. We talked about the divinity of the spirit. We talked about the spirits vehicle, the physical being, and the desires of the physical being. We talked of seeking spiritual teachers in Indian religion, guided meditation, massage, and yoga, as well as travel around the United States and the world.
I talked about my evolving relationship with my wife and my desire to rediscover friendship.
"I hope that everything works out."
It was late and time to go. I told her I would be right back and went out to the car to bring back some kind of tribute. There was not enough in the world to thank her. I put some cash into an envelope, and then saw a small container of olives that I had brought from home, and brought those too.
The lights were on when I came back, so I could gaze into her green eyes as she enthusiastically wrote directions to interesting places in Atlanta. She vividly described little five points. As she wrote the directions I was mesmerized by her hands, wrists, her forearms, that had brought such release and such pleasure, now simply managing a pen and paper.
She said once again how much she enjoyed our session. Her last words to me were, “I don’t want you to leave.” It was almost an invitation, but it seemed she wanted me to keep going out the door. Those words rang in my ears as I walked out under the stars. I lifted my arms in thanks to the stars and Moon, and wondered if some day I could stay and try to please her in return, or if Ms Insatiable will be proud to take me to her clubs or workshops.
I did not know if my tribute was appropriate in amount. I am sure others have given her more in quantity and value. Perhaps, it was my small container of olives that were the better symbolized of my heart-felt gratitude. What amount of money can ever equal what she gave to me?
If she is insatiable, I do not yet know. But I know that she is so generous that my life-long desires were fulfilled in a few hours.
She wrote to me on Monday. "Greetings teri, I had a wonderful evening with you. The connection was quite powerful and just what I needed to end my day as well! Looking forward to your return and see where we can go..."
