So, I wasn't forced to say anything. I'm full time now. I apologize for saying he was just rude heh.
I've done the calculations. This is actually going to cost me income this year heh. It's obviously better in the long run, but for this first year, I'm going to end up making less due to rules like not being able to work on statutory holidays, and not getting the occasional "you worked more than 24 hours a week as a part time worker so here's $16" bonuses.
Yes, about fifteen weeks of the year when we weren't in a special seasonal time (like the entirety of summer, and all of December/early January), or having a major promotion, I got an extra $16 for working forty hours as a part time worker. It's kind of hilarious. The people who negotiated our contract were pathetic.
Then we somehow voted yes to it. We're even more pathetic.
Tomorrow, I'm going to do it. I'm going to call that doctor's office, and make an appointment.
Umm... assuming I actually still have a doctor. I'm still concerned it might have expired due to non-use.
Oh... I think I have 100% drug coverage now. Never has this mattered to me because, if you never go to see a doctor, you never really have any prescriptions to pay for. Let's see if I can change that and get me some champix.
I've been thinking the upstairs people would be home from vacation for three days now. That means I've done my dishes three days in a row. It's quite annoying. Like there are lots of dishes. It's not like I was going to run out. You really only need to do them once or twice a week. Yet, I feel like I should have the dishes I used done when they come home because I'm not... umm... a lazy bastard who thinks other people should wash his dirty dishes? So, I keep doing them, and they keep not coming home!
I should probably have asked what day they were coming back eh? Trouble is I don't really care.
The Jeff Ordered Too Many Hams Sale amuses me greatly. It's just something I can truly appreciate.
That's it except to say I really love living alone. Being independent is the best. If only it was a financially feasible.
