The Red Wheelbarrow - William Carlos Williams

Oct 03, 2005 22:15

so much depends
upon

a red wheel
barrow

glazed with rain
water

beside the white
chickens.

Today was the first time I came across this poem and I must say,
it's probably one of the best I've ever read.
Whilst famous and somewhat notorius, I couldn't resist
posting it for those who've never met William.

And yes, tonight, an in depth discussion on the poem, lasting around 45 minutes,
Me and Miss were the best in our corner beside the white chickens.
