Sunshine was one of the few things that Park Yoochun missed about being human. He certainly didn't miss all the avarice and betrayal that the humankind seemed capable of. Not to say that vampires were any different. His own maker had betrayed himself and his companion. When he thought of Kim Jaejoong, a smile crossed his face. Turning over in bed, he gazed at his lover's sleeping face. Lover...Jae was so much more to him than just his lover. Lover, companion, friend, brother, soulmate... the human language didn't have words for how deep their relationship went.

Being together for over four hundred years tended to do that. Stretching, he sat up and pushed the covers off, revealing his lightly tanned and naked body. The disappearing sunlight seemed to flicker against his skin briefly, before disappearing. He glanced down, rubbing at the tattoo on his chest. It still amazed him how something as simple as a tattoo could take so easily to his skin. It seemed more vibrant now than it did when he first got it.

Turning back to the bed, he smirked as he crawled back onto the bed and over his lover. He leaned in, nibbling on his ear before turning the same attention to his neck. "Joongie...wake up..."

Sleeping was easily one of Jaejoong's favorite pasttimes. When he was asleep, he got to be dead to the world, even more so than usual, and that's what he was: dead. Even still, within the cool confines of his bed, everything was calm. There wasn't any threat of being discovered or really known. He was safe, and content, and was cool mentioned yet? The one thing he would never miss about his human body. Being hot wasn't fun, but from time to time, holding a warm human body against his chest wasn't bad.

He shifted, just slightly, when he felt the attention at his ear. His first instinct was to swat the offending thing that dared to bother him. One would think after four hundred years he'd be more willing to wake up, but it was one of those bad habits that carried over from his human life. That and laying on his stomach. What kind of vampire slept on their stomach? Jaejoong. He was as average as a vampire as he had been as a human.

A small groan escaped his throat, rough and tired, as he did the only thing he could do since his arms didn't seem ready to work with him. He turned his face into the pillow and shrugged up his shoulders. It might stop those annoying shivery feelings from shooting down his spine. Another annoying trait that didn't seem to go away. "O way."

Laughing, Yoochun buried his nose into Jaejoong's neck. Jae was always like this, every night. After four hundred years, you would think he would be used to it. Well, he was. But he never ceased to have fun with it.

"Jagiya~ wake up..." Kissing his neck, Yoochun tugged the covers off of Jaejoong, even as he snuggled against his back. They were both cold, but that was the nature of being a vampire. He usually hated the cold, but it wasn't so bad. After all, there were...ways, to warm up, even as one of his kind.
The thought to hiss, or something equally menacing flashed through what little part of Jaejoong's brain had been alert. Though, as it were, he was never really great at waking up. Being a farmer meant waking up all the time and now that his survival didn't depend on it, and it hadn't for a really long time, he didn't bother jumping up at the first thing to alert him that life was going on outside of his bed.

Groaning, his hand finally moved, but it was only in attempts to catch the covers. Unfortunately, for all his prenatural speed, he was still just too out of it. A part of him knew exactly what Yoochun was trying to do. Giving in would probably be the fastest way to get him to leave him alone, but Jaejoong was nothing if not stubborn at his worst. "Babo...," he mumbled, face still against the fabric. "Go away."

"You can't make me." The best way to deal with this was with a challenge. Yoochun was nothing if not persistent. "It's time to WAKE UP!" Honestly, how could he sleep his life away so much?! They already slept all day. Granted, when the time changed, they ended up with more hours during the night, but that wasn't the case during the spring and summer months.

Smirking, Yoochun placed a nibble against Jaejoong's ear, his fingers searching. He finally found what he was looking for, and ran his fingernails along Jaejoong's sides, intent on either tickling him, or making him squeak. Either one would be sure to get him up and out of bed in a hurry.

Jaejoong was pretty sure he could, in fact, make Yoochun. He might not have had much against him, but he was confident in being just a tiny bit bigger, more built. Muscle was still muscle, and Jaejoong had been lucky enough to have been strong as a human, unlike Yoochun, who just seemed scrawny.

The nibbling, he could handle. There was something about attention near his neck that was exciting in a way that was so much more than humans could probably fathom. Though, once those fingers worked around his body jerked. The magical thing about vampires, he could have Yoochun on his back, hands pinned above his head with a hand while the other jerked the black strands to the side, fangs already in his neck within a few seconds. It was barely enough time to give a warning growl.

One of the things that made vampires different from humans (aside from the blood feeding), was they tended to be excited with the strangest things. Like being bitten on the neck. Yoochun knew exactly what he was doing when he attempted to tickle his lover on his side.

Flipped over onto his back, his hands pinned, Yoochun was pretty much trapped underneath Jaejoong. But he certainly didn't mind it, not int he least. If anything, this was where he preferred to be. Instead of trying to struggle out of his grip, Yoochun tilted his head to the side, making sure that Jaejoong had as much access to his neck as possible. He couldn't help the little purring sound that escaped his throat. Times like these made him wish he was just a bit stronger than Jaejoong. How he would have loved to thread his fingers into the fine, soft brown hair.

There was no thought put into what came next. It was all instinct. This was exactly what he was. The idea to suck on the blood as if the artery was just a straw and the red liquid that came from it was the sweetest koolaid. A low moan slipped from his throat between swallows. Drinking Yoochun's blood was definitely not like drinking a human's. It hit his tongue cool, and lacked the same flavor. It wasn't really alive, so doing this served no purpose at all, other than doing it just felt damn good.

He knew better than to take too much. The last thing he needed was Yoochun whining about being left weak, not that Jaejoong would probably get far before payback bit him, literally. So, he had to pull back, if only a little. His tongue licked over the wounds. They would heal fast, they always did, but for a moment, he could do this. He let out a satisfied sigh, head turning just enough to touch his nose along Yoochun's jaw, his hands loosening just a bit.

Oh good, his hands were free now. Taking the opportunity, Yoochun ran his fingers through Jaejoong's hair, loving the silky soft feel of it. Despite feeling a bit weak from the bite, he wasn't complaining. Even though biting each other provided no nourishment, it was almost akin to sex for vampires. The rush it gave was so heady and delicious.

Turning his head just a bit, his lips pressed against Jaeejoong's neck, placing a lingering kiss there, before his tongue darted out, licking at a spot before his teeth elongated, piercing the soft skin. Blood rushed into his mouth, and he was hard pressed not to give a deep moan of pleasure and satisfaction. Even though they didn't have a substantial link between them, he could sense Jaejoong's emotions, and he was sure that his lover could sense his as well. A few moments later, he pulled back, licking at the wound and nuzzling his neck before looking up at him with an impish grin. "Evening. Finally awake I see."

Even though he knew it was coming, the fangs pushing through his skin still left him feeling fleeting shock. It hurt, but not in the way many would expect, and if anything, the pain only reminded him of what little life he still had. He was alive, not in the conventional sense, but to some degree. He existed. That was more than enough.

It was hard to bite back the growl, and after a few seconds he gave up on that. Surely, Yoochun wasn't really affected by it. It was just one of those things Jaejoong did. Yoochun purred like a feline on catnip, Jaejoong growled like a dog in heat. Most of his self control went into not ripping into Yoochun's neck again, but once the moment had passed his eyes reopened, head turning to look down at him, lips curving into a small smile. "It's hard not to be awake when someone is molesting you in your sleep. I think there's a name for that condition." He licked over his lips, letting his weight settle atop him, eyes tracing out his features.

Unable to stop grinning, Yoochun just gave him an innocent look. "Who me? I have no idea what you're talking about. I was just trying to get you to wake up. I swear, if I let you, you'd sleep twenty-four hours a day...night. Whatever."

Leaning up, he placed a kiss on those smiling lips. "Can I help it if I'm selfish and I want you to myself? So, what's on tonight's agenda for you? I have a car to deliver but that shouldn't take long and I'm free the rest of the night." Ah, the perks of owning your own business.

"Is there a reason to get up out of bed?" There it was, that same old negative side that liked to creep in at moments. Though, Jaejoong gave a small sigh, head bowing, nose touching Yoochun's neck. "It's not like I have to eat when you're just sitting there for me all the time."

He took a deep breath before pushing himself up further, legs shifting to slip out from the covers and leave the bed. His hands lifted to the ceiling, making his way to the closet to grab some things to wear. "Maybe, I'll take a trip to the island."

"That might be a good idea. Get out of the apartment for awhile." Yoochun tilted his head, watching Jaejoong for a long moment. He really hated these black moods that Jae seemed to get into every so often.

There wasn't really anything he could do about it, unfortunately. If there had been, he would have done it already. "Did you want to meet up later somewhere?"

"Mm..." Jaejoong gave a little smile out of habit as he looked over the shirts, pulling out a black tanktop and overshirt. He grabbed some jeans, pulling those on first then the shirts before slolwy looking back to Yoochun.

He paused for a moment, expression softening a little. "Why don't you meet me at East River park...near the Williamsburg bridge...say...midnight? Feel free to bring a snack if you get hungry. That should give you plenty of time." He nodded, seemingly satisfied before turning to find a matching belt and shoes to go with the outfit.

"Oh more than enough time." Yoochun slid out of bed and stretched before heading to his own closet and pulling out some clothes. His usual tank top was pushed aside in favor of a white dress shirt, tie, dress pants and a jacket. Must look presentable for the client, after all.

"East River park it is then." Getting dressed, he turned and grinned. "Presentable?"

Jaejoong nodded, moving to grab himself some socks before moving back to the bed. He was a vampire, but he still liked to sit while putting on his shoes to get rid of the pesky risk for having to balance. He was clumsy as a human, horribly so. He'd gotten a lot more graceful, but there was no reason to test it.

He turned his head, hands sliding back along the covers before simply laying down again. "Handsome." He lifted a hand to motion him over. "Stay with me a little longer before you go?"

"Of course." Yoochun finished getting dressed and headed over to the bed. "Anything for you, gorgeous."

Lying down next to Jaejoong, he instinctively wrapped his arms around the other, holding him close.

Jaejoong never would have openly admitted to being so affectionate, but as soon as Yoochun was close, his arms found their way up and around him, eyes sliding closed as he nestled closer. His head ducked a little, cheek against Yoochun's before he gave a small smile. "Too good to me."

"Ah, never too good for you." Yoochun smiled back, nuzzling against Jaejoong's cheek. "Feeling better now?" He worried so much about Jaejoong, but never said anything since he didn't want to upset Jae any more than he tended to get already.

"Definitely too good." Jaejoong hummed softly, clearing his thoughts before gingerly lifting a hand to tug at the white shirt. "You know..." He pulled back enough to glance down as his fingers slipped beneath the fabric, tracing up over the cool pale skin. "You always look nice in suits."

Laughing, Yoochun watched as Jaejoong's fingers slid underneath his shirt. "So do you, but you don't wear them enough. You should change that." He rested his palm against the side of Jae's face, caressing his cheek softly.

"I have no real reason to wear them. I could show up for work in my pajamas if I wanted to..." Really, he probably did do that more often than not. It wasn't like anyone ever saw him, and the people that did... It was probably better that he be overlooked as some kind of bummy college kid with a smooth voice and that was it. His head tilted a little into the touch, eyes sliding closed.

"Sure you have a reason. Me." Yoochun winked impishly before placing a kiss on Jaejoong's nose. "You're very handsome in them. Though if you did, I might get jealous when all the other women start ogling you."

"Should I just wear them around the apartment?" Jaejoong raised a brow, but the small gesture definitely wiped away everything, leaving just a small smile. "Don't they usually when I actually make an effort?"

Snort. "Are you kidding me? They do when you aren't making an effort. I can't even remember all the times I've had to fight them off." He grinned, knowing Jaejoong would know he was teasing. "You know, you should come with me."

"Aish...this guy..." Jaejoong shook his head. "Don't be silly. The smart ones figure out something is wrong before they get too close and the others...they would just as gladly have you~" He leaned a little, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek. "I should?"

"You should, yes." Yoochun nodded, completely serious. He knew that Jaejoong would wow the clients with his poise and charm. Shaking his head, Yoochun stuck his tongue out. "The only time they want me is when they know they stand no chance with you. You're the handsome one after all."

"Will I get paid?" Jaejoong lifted his head, raising a brow as if this was important information that was critical to his choice. He laughed, lifting his hand out from under his shirt to push his push. "Isn't that...always?"

Laughing, Yoochun leaned in for a kiss. "That depends on what kind of payment you want in return." He sighed, pouting. "I know. It's so hard having to deal with all those pretty girls."

Jaejoong gave a hum before leaning in to meet the kiss, not even bothered by the words, leaning in for another before simply mumbling against his lips. "Quickie in the car before it's handed over." He laughed, leaning back, a hand lifting to ruffle up Yoochun's hair, biting his lip. "How ever do you do it?"

"It's a burden, truly." Returning the kiss, Yoochun ran his fingers through Jaejoong's hair absently. It was so soft, he loved running his fingers through it. "Is that what you want? I think that can be arranged."

"You've got skills~" The fingers in his hair made him relax. Only Yoochun could really do this. Anyone else hovering anywhere near Jaejoong's hair sent him into a tense state. He wasn't overly confident in his looks at times, but he did take pride in his hair. "I definitely would like it. It's a nice start, at least."

"Only for you." Yoochun smiled, more than glad to see Jae relaxing. It always worried him when he got into one of his black moods. "That it is. So. You should get changed and come with me."

"I'm really the luckiest man." Jaejoong smiled, taking a deep breath before somewhat slumping against him, eyes shifting to stare at the closet as if he could will the clothes to him instead of having to get up. "That would require a lot of energy..."

"Really now. I suppose I could do it for you. But if I did, we might end up being late." Yoochun returned the smile before leaning in and giving Jaejoong a nibbling kiss. "I mean, if I go to the trouble of getting them, I'll have to change you too and that could delay things, you know."

Letting his eyes close, Jaejoong smiled a little more into the kiss, lightly licking over his lips before pushing a hand to the mattress to get up."Okay. I'm getting up."

"You don't have to, you know." Yoochun smirked, stretching out like a cat. He reached out, his fingers running along Jaejoong's arm in a soft caress. "I don't want to move, it's so comfortable here."

"Now, who's the lazy one?" He smirked, leaning down to lightly touch his nose against Yoochun's before finally moving off the bed again. His hands reached down, working to peel off the clothes, as he wandered over to the closet. "Someone has to go to work. This place won't pay for itself and I sure as hell won't be it~"

"Haha. So you think. Besides, we can always just influence the landlady to forget about the rent." Cheating, but what did Yoochun care? They were over four hundred years old; they could do with a little cheating now and then.

"You're so bad...how are we going to ever fit in if we drive our landlady insane by stealing her memories?" He had to laugh, though. It was an idea he would put into action. Undoubtedly he had plenty of times. He worked hard as a human, no reason to now that he was dead. He paused, fingering over the clothes before pulling on dress pants and a button up. He certainly didn't like to wear such things on a daily basis, but there was really something to be said about a nice suit.

Yes there was. Especially when Yoochun got to watch the eye candy put said suit on. Slowly. Locking his lips, he had to force himself to stay where he was. Time to take it off later. "Yes, I am. And you love me that way."

Jaejoong took his time with the buttons, making sure to leave the top two undone, before pulling on a blazer. No tie. Those were too professional. He wasn't actually working. "She's such a sweet old woman... Like a grandmother." He turned to the mirror, looking over his hair.

Professional, yes. But they were so much fun to play around with. Yoochun adjusted his own tie absently. "She is. She's very sweet and I don't mind doing things for her." He'd do odd jobs for her around the building, just to help her out.

"I bet she'd never guess we're about six times her age." Jaejoong hummed, smoothing out his shirt before seeking out the best pair of shoes and a nice watch to completely the look.

"She's forever trying to match me up with her granddaughter." It was quite amusing. Every time Yoochun was around, the girl would hide.
