There was something seriously off about this girl. Couldn't she have more success off on a street where these kind of girls usually spent their time? Maybe she just didn't have a...pimp. That might explain. There were no words, and in the end, he only turned back to the door, gave a knock.

Though, once the door had opened and he fed some bullshit line about being new to the neighborhood, he heard her speaking again...to... Was she seriously going after his partner? This woman...

He gave a laugh, waved off the annoyed look of the man before the door was more or less slammed in his face. Sure, he expected it, but people never really failed to prove how stupid they could be. If he was running some illegal activities, he'd sure as hell be nice to everyone.

Still, there was still the issue of the girl and she was going for... She had to be new at this! He took off, jogging a little to catch up with her before she got too far. "Stop. You're coming with me." He really didn't need her screaming and causing a scene. He had his car close by. She could wait there until after the raid. Great. Babysitting a newbie call girl wasn't his idea of a fun night.

She was leaving and then...she wasn't. "Come with you?" she asked curiously. She usually didn't go with people. Except for when she'd met Yesung. And Masaki. And Sho. And Ryo. And there was always Yuya, she'd gone with him right off... Well, whatever, she didn't feel anything off this guy--straight up human--and he wasn't going to hurt her, that was definite. She gave him a sweetheart smile, dimpling up at him. "Okay, mister!" she smiled a little more. "You're gonna buy some time?" she asked hopefully. Maybe he needed to be closer to wherever in order to use it.

But just in case... she put her hand on his arm and leaned close to him, smiling just that tiny bit more. "I'm really happy!" she told him. "I've been out here for a while and it's kinda cold and nobody would buy anything even though there's lots of people! I promise it's gonna be really lucky! Good stuff! I super extra promise!"

Only... "Only, will this take very long? I've really got to work hard tonight." Come Again could actually stay closed for a while if it had to--her regulars had come in for their movies already--but she wanted to get back to work. The wind sneaked up her skirt and she smoothed it down absently. "Are we going now?" She put her other hand on him and stepped a bit to use him to block the breeze.

"I'm not!" Siwon's eyes went wide. Really? Was she that clueless? It couldn't be possible. Sure, girls like this usually weren't overly bright but they couldn't possibly... How many guys just grabbed her and walked off like this? He really didn't want to think about it.

"You're not going to be working tonight, Miss." He shook his head, moving an arm around her on instinct. At least she wasn't freaking out. He just needed to get her to his car so his guys could do their job. "You're being arrested for solicitation." And...just case he wasn't obvious enough at this point. "I'm a cop..."

He shook his head, pausing a second before moving a hand to the small of her back to give her a push. "Just come get in the car and don't cause a scene. It's no wonder those guys wouldn't buy anything. You shouldn't do this kind of thing." He paused outside the normal looking unmarked car and motioned for her to get in the back. "I'll let you call..." He paused, thinking of how he could put that gently. "Someone...when we get to the station. It's easier if you don't resist." Yet, they always resisted...

Huh? Huh?! Huh?!

"I'm not doing anything illegal!" she protested. But he was a nice guy and he was blocking the wind and he wasn't putting her in handcuffs. And he was going to put her in a car so that was nice. Once she dragged out her permit she'd be able to go. So it wasn't like really being arrested! "I've got a permit, Mister! It's legit! I hate being arrested!"

Oh. He probably thought. "I'm a zashiki-warashi! A luck sprite from Japan! I get you lucky for real. With real luck. I'm dressed up 'cause of my job, my real job, at the sex shop!" She got into the car, giving the nice man another smile. "I promise it's all legal! I'm not under arrest because it's legal." She settled in and reached for her bag to get herr...she hadn't brought her bag. Oh. Ohhhh. "I maybe put it in my bra," she said, poking a hand. She had to have it! She had to! "I've got it somewhere, honest!"

"I don't think there's a permit for that." Siwon gave a small nod, not missing a beat in keeping her moving. He could only imagine that the van was pulling around and orders were being issued. He was missing all of the fun.

He did raise a brow at her. Obviously Japanese, but other than that, her words meant little to him, even when she tried to explain. Great, another nut job claiming to be a unicorn. Yet, once she started digging around he took a step back, hand reaching behind his back. Right. He didn't have his gun. If they had sensors it would've tripped them. At least, it didn't seem like she was going to pull something out.

Still, Siwon kept up his guard even as she reached... His eyes went even wider if it was physically possible, and for him, it probably was. Never let it be said that a person couldn't read his emotions. "Looks like you don't...so...can you just get in the car? You can call from the office. Maybe, you left it at home." He certainly didn't believe that, but he hated the idea of digging out his handcuffs and having to chase her down if she freaked out.

Misono knew cops--not only had she been arrested before but her family before Yesung had dated a cop. "I don't have anything," she said absently, rummaging in her top as he stepped back like he thought she had a gun or something. "Bad things don't happen to me because I'm Misono. So I don't carry anything like what you're worried over." She gave him another tiny smile. "I like officers, mostly, when they're not arresting me."

She didn't have it. She really, totally didn't. She was going to have to go to jail and go through booking and...oh crap. She'd have to call Yesung. She was going to have to call Yesung and say she'd been arrested. For soliciting. AGAIN. She slumped into the backseat of the nice cop's car. "I don't have it and now I have to call Yesung and he's going to be so very super extra angry at me," she said in despair. She pulled her legs up and wrapped her arms around them, curling into herself. Maybe. Maybe... She let a tiny smile flutter on her lips. "Can't you just let me go back to work? I can come show you my permit when I find it. It's probably at work, you know. I almost always have it with me." Maybe... "I can give you an hour for free?"

She didn't want to do that but she really, really didn't want to go to jail again. "I promise I'm good for it?" she offered hopefully. C'mon, nice, tall, handsome man. Be nice to Misono...

Siwon had to frown. Surely, she wasn't used to this kind of thing. Yet, this was why people shouldn't do such things in the first place! You'll always get caught. "I'm sorry, but I have to. It's my duty." He might not have a regular police badge and uniform, but he still lived by the same laws.

Once she was inside, he rounded the car to slip into the driver's side. He waited a second before deciding there was probably nothing he could contribute to the scene. One less man should have been okay. Otherwise, he would have been called back in by now. Though, when she spoke up, his eyes went wide again. "I can't let you do that. Stop asking me."

He shifted in his seat, clearly uncomfortable. "I'm sorry." He reached for his keys before cutting on the car and making a circle to head toward the station. His headquarters wasn't really a place for people like her. He'd have to give his version and then the other guys could take care of the rest.

No worries! We're all a little erratic. misono_soup December 9 2011, 11:53:44 UTC
Crap. She really WAS going to have to call Yesung and tell him and he'd yell and...and...

"Hey, mister?" she said as they drove. He was a good driver--he didn't speed and he didn't make rude gestures at other drivers. "Officer? Can you stay with me until Yesung comes? I don't like booking." She bit absently at the fur ruff on her sleeve. "And can you call Yesung for me? My phone is at work and I don't want him to yell at me."

Not that he wouldn't yell anyhow. "He'll yell but not AT you. He'll just yell in general and by the time he brings my permit in and we prove that it's all legal he'll have calmed down and he'll scold me something fierce but he won't yell anymore." She hoped. She'd never been arrested while living with Yesung but she was pretty sure that was how it'd go.

But speaking of yelling! She uncurled and sat forward, leaning on the back of the front seat. "You know, normally I'd be whining and shouting at you right now! I suuuuuuuper don't like this! But you're a nice man, Mister Officer, so I'm not doing that. I'm kind of thinking of giving you the silent treatment only I want to be sweet to you so that you stay with me. AND I really want to prove to you that I'm not doing anything illegal! You're a nice man so I want you to think that I'm a nice person."

She was totally a nice person. "If I wasn't nice, I'd write to the Emperor and say how you'd arrested me. I only got to move here on special dispensation from the Emper--not this one, not this one, but Emperor...well, I got the first permission from Meiji but then I had to ask again when I presented myself to Taisho and he said I could go after the war ended and if I still wanted and if I had a family to take me and I did and I did so I did. Anyhow, I was on that island for THREE WHOLE DAYS while they ironed out my status, did you know? I have special status here! Taisho made sure so that I'd be treated respectfully!"

...did that sound boastful? Maybe it did. "I'm not boasting and I'm not threatening. I think you're a nice person. You didn't put me in handcuffs like Victor did or like Officer Warren did so that's super nice of you." Yup. She smiled at him, trying to catch his eyes in the rearview mirror. "So will you please, please, please stay with me and call Yesung for me? So that he won't yell at me and threaten to lock me in the closet or tie me up and stuff me under my bed?" Sometimes Yesung got that headache-look and threatened to do those things to her--he never meant it but she felt bad making him say it. "Please, Mister Nice Officer?" Maybe she'd bring up the fact that she was very small. Sometimes being small and cute helped.

Normally, people didn't say much in a car ride. Granted, it had been a while since Siwon had been on patrol or anything. His division did their thing, and the other guys tended to take care of general things. Girls like this one for example. Though...she didn't seem like he remembered. Of course she'd been enthusiastic in offering her services, but most of them were, at least when he was sent to check them out.

He gave a soft hum, eyebrows raising a bit the more she talked about this guy. She liked to talk... He must be her handler. Fair enough, perhaps. Really, he was pretty sure all of that was out of protocol. Yet, she did seem to be pretty new...or not...either way. She seemed young, and cute. Far too cute to be doing this with her life.

A lot of what she was saying didn't really make sense, but his heart got the better of his head. At least a little. "Ah...sure. Just write down the number before we set you back in the holding cell." He nodded, turning to pull up, reaching in the glove compartment for his badge before tucking it away and getting out to open her door for her. "It might be better if I call anyway. If he's that emotional..." Siwon didn't want to think about it. "Come on. Let's get you inside. We can get some coffee or something, too."

He was going to call Yesung for her! He really was a very nice man. Misono beamed at him as he opened the door, letting her slide out. "You're the nicest person who has ever arrested me," she told him. She looked around--she'd totally been to this precinct before! "Hey, this is where Victor works! The first time I got arrested I was here! Only Victor doesn't work here anymore, I think he and Mackenzie moved when they booted me out of our house and I think he works somewhere else now. I can't tell. Him and me were never family so I couldn't feel him and even if we had been, I wouldn't be able to now!"

Since she knew where she was going she led the way. "But you know what? I don't care about Victor! HE would never give me coffee! I like coffee!" Today was actually pretty good--she'd met a handsome guy and she was getting coffee and her butt wasn't so cold because she wasn't out in the wind. Sure, she wasn't at work but there were trade-offs in every situation. "Coffee AND you're calling Yesung so this is great! For being arrested, I mean!" Yup! She nodded as she found the right area to get herself processed. "His name is Yesung Kim," she said, grabbing a pen and paper off a nearby desk. "He has a radio show on late at night and he's a super great guy only..." Only he was a werewolf who sometimes tried to eat her and other people and the cat. "Only it's not a good time for him right now." The moon would be full in just a few days. "And I'm kind of a handful. I'm all bossy and naggy and pushy and I talk enough for any twelve people, Yesung says. But I love him! He took me in, you know! He became my family!"

Family. "Do you have family, Mister Officer?" She should get his name. She handed him the paper with Yesung's phone number on it and sat down in a chair, smoothing her skirt as she sat. "I like families a lot. I like hearing about them. I think you should have one. If you don't, you can come live with me and Yesung." Yesung probably wouldn't like that at all but she liked this guy already. "I can take care of you like I do Yesung!"
