Jun looked down, rubbing his thumb over the denim on his thigh. "I love my jeans as a friend," he said under his breath. What a stupid instruction, really. And he was starting to sweat under his jacket. It was really too warm for it, even with the increased air. At least they hadn't given him a hat. He let the balloon go and considered the set, giving the camera a broody stare to cover it.

There wasn't much he could do here, really. So he knelt down, slowly, and scooped up a handful of snow. He lifted it and blew it towards Meisa. Was she making a snowball? Because gentlemen or not, he'd shove snow down her jacket for it if she threw that at him.

"Lovely! Mister Jun, off your knees! We're not proposing to Miss Meisa, we're just meeting her! First meeting!"

First meeting and he'd dump snow on her head, he decided, trying not to be obvious in eyeballing her hands. He let the last few flakes of potato drift down in front of Meisa's face. "Throw a potato ball at me and I'll tackle you into the drift over there," he warned her.

Thank goodness for cooling spells. Meisa knew she would definitely have been sweating under the wool by now. She watched the balloon go, taking advantage while Jun was eyeing the set to grab some snow.

At the same time he got to his knees and blew snow at her, she was discreetly trying to figure out how to make the potato stick to form a ball. Or maybe not as discreetly as she thought. Jun called her out just as the potato flakes finally decided to become a snowball. Meisa looked at him with a mischievous smirk. "Warning duly noted."

"Miss Meisa what are you holding? Miss Meisa? Don't-"

She threw the ball, watching its trajectory towards Jun.

Jun was so startled by Meisa actually doing it that he got hit in the face by the snow-potato ball. He gaped, tasted potato, and shut his mouth. Ignoring the photographer completely he wiped the flakes away from his eyes. "I warned you," he growled, lunging for her and catching her at the waist.

"Mister Jun! No, no!"

She might have been a fighter, but Jun was still (marginally) bigger than she was and she wasn't fighting him hard. He carted her to the nearest 'drift' and dumped her down gently, going down to his knees to make sure he didn't drop her too hard on her butt. "I--" he started to say when he was interrupted by a shriek.

"No, no! This is not what we are doing! Not at all! Arick! Cici! Renee! Collect Miss Meisa and Mister Jun! Collect the denim! We are done now! We have the test shots from the beginning and that will do!"

Jun looked at Meisa. Well. "Hand up?" he asked politely, toeing snowflakes at her.

The photographer and Jun both had identical looks of surprise on their faces. The camera kept clicking away even as Meisa doubled up in laughter. She was still giggling when Jun finally came to his senses, giving a not so surprised 'Oi!' as he brought her to a mound of potato flakes. There wasn't much of a fight on her part, since being dumped into a 'drift' was probably deserved.

Meisa did brace for impact, surprised that her landing was a lot softer than expected. A shriek interrupted whatever Jun was about to say and now she was curious. Directions were being shouted, indignation loud and clear in the photographer's tone. Oh well.

Mock pouting at the snowflakes being toed at her, she accepted Jun's offer. "Thanks."

Renee and Arick helped the pair of them out of their heavy jackets and Cici shooed them to the racks where their normal clothes were. The photographer could be heard muttering something as he looked at the final shots on the camera. Praise or not, they wouldn't know until they went to see the proofs.

"You were about to say something before our lovely photographer interrupted our fun," Meisa prompted Jun as they walked back, "Care to share?"

Shedding his jacket and sweater, Jun followed Meisa off the set. He felt bad about the unprofessional behavior but he was sure that they had the shot; he felt certain that the photographer wouldn't have called it if they didn't. And, to be fair, his mother had always told him to never spend any more time with weirdos than he absolutely had to.

Care to share? He'd been about to say something about giving her the chance to give up or get buried and he opened his mouth to say so as he began pulling off his button down shirt but stopped as he felt something in his back give. From experience he knew it was going to open up and it was going to do so sooner rather than later. "It wasn't anything much," he said. He tried to be casual as he reached the changing area. "Just more big talk."

He shooed away the wardrobe guy and changed back to his shirt hurriedly, trying to keep his back against the curtain. "Hey, I--" he didn't want to cancel on going to Korean barbecue with Meisa but it was something he was going to have to do. "I'm going to have to ask for a raincheck on Miss Korea," he said regretfully. "Something's come up--" or opened up, honestly "--and I've got to get over to the hospital."

He changed his pants quickly and looked over towards where Meisa was changing. "I'll hold your dollar hostage until then."

"Big talk," Meisa chuckled and shot Jun an amused look before they both disappeared into the 'privacy' of their racks. "If there's a shot of the look on your face, I'm totally taking it and framing it for posterity," she called over, peeling off the tight jeans and slipping back into her own shorts and T-shirt. The cooling charm was left in place, it was about midday by now and New York would be hot and humid.

Jun's voice took on a sense of urgency as he cancelled on their lunch plans. It was disappointing, but understandable. As far as Meisa remembered him telling her, his work at the hospital was important research. Probably something like curing cancer. "It's all right," she said with a mock pout though he couldn't see it, "The hospital is important."

She really did pout at Jun upon finding out that her dollar was being held hostage. "Hey! That's-" Bits of what looked to be potato flakes were still in his hair, "You've got some potato in your hair," she interrupted herself and motioned to the area, "You'll probably want to brush them out before you get to the hospital."

"Whatever the lady wants," he mock-sighed. She was a good person, Jun thought. He brushed his fingers through his hair, trying to get the potato out. Normally he'd have bent over and shook them out but things were moving too fast today. He'd have to talk to Doctor Schron about it when he got to 'work'. The important wok today was probably going to involve a lot of poking and prodding and samples.

"Miss Korea with you is pretty important too," he told her. He finished with his hair and moved uncomfortably. "At least it'd be more fun."

Being a zombie? Really hard on the fun. "I know you're busy--I'll give you my number and we can set something up." He, himself, was going to be busy the next few weeks but after cancelling today he was going to do his best to be available when she had time.

Meisa gave Jun a quick once over just to make sure he no longer had any potato upon his person before he went out and to work. It was doubtful that the hospital would appreciate potato getting everywhere.

"It's alright," she reassured Jun with a shake of her head and a grin, "I can wait, the hospital probably can't."

"Ohh!" Her eyes went wide. How did they get this far without ever exchanging numbers? "Yes, here, let me grab my phone..." she rummaged in her bag, found her phone, and pulled it out and set it up so that he could type in his number. "I have various editorial spreads the next couple weeks until September, but once school starts, things should start settling down."

"We'll find time... or there's always the next photoshoot." Meisa smiled brightly. "Who knows, we may have this photographer again."

It wasn't the hospital that couldn't wait. Jun truly did feel bad about this. Poor planning on his part usually made him pretty cranky. "I stand by my statement," he told Meisa, entering his information. He didn't take hers in return--that was his punishment to himself. If she chose not to call and set up lunch again, that was his own fault.

But he didn't think that she'd do that. He smiled at her, handing her phone back. "I don't have anything that can't be rearranged or that you couldn't be invited to." Jun wasn't known to be a pissy diva, but he could be and it might be worth it to bring a friend in on a shoot. Especially one like Meisa. "But if we have to wait...well, I hope it is this guy."

The photographer was looking at the digital proofs and was rapidly moving from 'happy' to 'too excited' to 'Not Happy' and back again.

"I like him."

Jun was one of the few people in the modeling world who Meisa could truly consider a friend. It wasn't really a matter of if she'd call, but when. Somehow, life was always busiest right before school started. Too many last minute things to take care of. Taking back her phone, she grinned back at him. "I'd say the same, but I doubt you'd be interested in modeling women's lingerie. Or clothes." But if Jun could rearrange things so that they could work together sooner rather than later... well it'd be more fun than modeling sexy underwear and making pouty faces.

"Me too." Their photographer was bordering on insane but it had been a fun shoot. Insanely fun. "What do you think we'll have to do the next time if we get him again?"

The photographer caught her eye as she glanced in his direction. "Miss Meisa! Mister Jun! Come! Come! Look at the proofs!"

Meisa nodded then turned her gaze at Jun. "If you want to make your escape," she went to kiss his cheeks, European style, "I'll make your excuses for you and tell him to send the proofs along."

[Ooc: Sorry! Taiyou had a really skanky computer virus.]

"I don't really have the legs for lingerie," he snorted, amused at Meisa. "But that's probably what we'd end up doing with this guy again. Crossdressing." He didn't really think so but then again, there had been balloons and giant mushrooms. "That's my dollar bet for next time: cross dressing with a side of snazzy-car."

As much as he wanted to see the proofs and laugh over them, he really didn't want that itching on his face become a flaking. Not where people who weren't Dr. Schron or 'project' members could see. He accepted Meisa's friendly kisses and returned them with just a ghost of his own--catching her hand before she could walk away. "I--" He didn't want to go, particularly, but it was what it was. It was the price of living while dead. "Bet me now," he invited. "And...thank you." He squeezed despite his fingers.

[Ooc: It's okay! I've actually had spotty/no internet access the last couple days.]

"Cross-dressing with a side of snazzy car..." Meisa entertained the image of Jun in typical 'import car-girl' getup while she got to be decked out in a racing driver jumpsuit. "That has potential to top today's shoot for weirdest ever."

"Cici! Bring Miss Meisa and Mister Jun over!" their photographer called. Before the assistant could run over, Meisa waved Cici back, indicating that she was on her way. She smiled at Jun and turned to make her way, but there was a slight tug at her hand that prevented her from really going anywhere.

It was Jun, telling her to bet him now. Hmm. "It's the holiday season soon," she mused, "So probably more potato snow will be in our future. Winter wonderland sorta thing." Her lips quirked up with mischievous thought that their 'snowball fight' could be continued. Out of the corner of her eye, the photographer was starting to get impatient. "Go, before he grabs us both and there's no escape," Meisa lightly squeezed the hand holding hers and let go. "It's no problem, I'll see you later, yeah?"

"Yeah," Jun agreed, nodding. The thought of more potato flakes made him grin. He winked at her. "Have fun, Miss Meisa."

Feeling the skin on the back of his neck ripple unpleasantly he lifted his hand in a wave even as she left and then turned and made his way out of the studio. He waited until he was out of sight of the door before picking up into a light jog. He was going to have to splurge on a taxi. This heat was murder on the undead, it seemed.

"Bye Jun," Meisa waved. With that, she made her way over to the computer where the photographer was staring unhappily at one of their shots. The gaggle of assistants were hovering nervously around. Meisa took one look at the screen and burst out laughing. It was a shot of Jun just before the potato ball she had thrown exploded on his face. Horror, surprise, and a bit of resignation were battling for a spot on his face, resulting in a priceless expression. She was on the side, watching the ball, gigantic grin on her face. The photo was slightly out of focus, but it worked somehow. It'd be a great picture to frame even if neither Jun nor her could use it in their portfolio.

Pulling her camera out, Meisa took a picture of the proof as their photographer grumbled under his breath. She quickly found Jun's number and sent him the picture with the caption 'Too much fun. We have to do this again (^_^)v'.

After that, she answered the photographer's questions, explaining that Jun had an emergency to take care of and proceeding to pick proofs for her portfolio.
