After a whole day, Aiba really couldn't bring himself to put it off any longer. Sho needed to know, and Aiba would continue to be followed around by a gloomy gray cloud of uncertainty until he came clean. Because in retrospect, Aiba was not so sure he'd made the right decisions in going about this, but the only way to really know for sure was to talk to Sho.
Even though Sho was busy with work this week, and Aiba knew he probably didn't want to hear about his boyfriend's demon conquests. Aiba just didn't feel right, not at all, with him not knowing. Not to mention, the last thing he wanted was for Sho to find out from someone else before Aiba told him. Which was how he found himself outside the door of Sho's apartment, with no real warning.
He hadn't seen Sho since the weekend, which wasn't unusual, and Aiba wasn't even entirely sure if the man was home. Aiba fingered the key on his key ring that would allow him into the apartment, but balked at the last second. It wouldn't have been the first time he used it, but it didn't feel right to use it now. Instead, Aiba leaned back against the hallway wall and slid down it to sit across from the door, flipping open his cellphone and choosing the contact entry marked Boyfriend. It rang, and Aiba waited.
Maybe he really isn't home?
