It was late. Maki knew it was late but she'd just gotten out of work. She also knew she hadn't seen Nino since she'd dropped by Bluebell last week. After everything that had happened at the party, Maki had been fighting to come to terms with how she felt about...everything. Them. How she felt about Ohno and Nino and what exactly that meant for her, and for them. They were comfort, and happy, and that was really all she cared about when they were together.
But apart she missed them, and confusion would set in. About what she should be feeling. Nothing had really been discussed when she'd stopped in for lunch, but it had still been reassuring. Maki had been okay with things. For awhile.
A week later, she sort of wanted to see them again. She knew it meant she was becoming attached. She'd had a terribly long day, but it had been more boring than anything else, and Maki had decided early on that she would stop by unexpectedly to visit the couple. After all, they had told her she was always welcome. So it would be okay, she was mostly sure. Maki tried to remind herself not to worry so much as she found herself at the front of their apartment, gently pushing the buzzer and hoping she wasn't...interrupting anything.
