she'll absolutely drive you wild

This evening my roommate and her boyfriend made me watch the two hour season finale of Big Brother with them. Riveting. Now my roommate and her boyfriend are standing just outside my door whisper-yelling at each other about their Argument Of The Day as though I can't hear them. So right since, you know,  these doors are so thick and stage whispers are so silent.

I am definitely going to be able to graduate in four years, despite the school switch and major switch. That's so relieving it's just not even funny. Next year I only have to take like four classes each semester! Only I'll have to decide if I want to take extra electives for funsies. Do I really want to take intro to criminology just because the teacher is hysterical and My Kind Of Person? Probably yes. I was also toying with going ahead and doing a double major, adding English back into Creative Writing, but Lordy I would have to take SO many extra English credit hours. Maybe I'll do it if I don't get into grad school the first year I try.

I've got a question for you fic writers: How do you feel about going back on your own canon? Like for example, I have quite a few post-JE fics because I srsly love TenII, and I'm sure a lot of those fics contradict each other. But to me it's like...it's not like they're in "my verse" just because I happened to write them all. I mean, it's not like professor_spork's Feeling Electric series, where if she just decided that something went differently than she already said it went that would be like "WHAT STOP WHAT ARE YOU DOING." (only not really because Leah could probably do whatever she wanted and no one would say no.) It's just like, I feel as though there are lots of different possible post-JE scenarios and different ones inspire me at different times, so I don't feel bad about writing each of them out, even if I've already written something else that is completely different. Does that make sense/what are your thoughts?

Also if anyone is interested in reading any of my stories for various writing classes this semester, give me a shout and I might see about making that happen. Nothing's officially due/done yet, but. Eventually.

go college!: uncw, writing is my favorite, fanfiction: doctor who, roommates are fun
