- Having the money in the bank this week to:
- Make the first step on paying down our medical bills
- Buy Tom and me some new tennies - we've both busted holes through our current pairs
- Do a regular (if low-budget still) date night (We don't have to eat leftovers and play Trivial Pursuit!)
- Get more flea medicine for Abby (there's a store across the river that sells them individually)
- Get necessities for the animals and not worry about it because we were frugal with our meals this week and have some meat leftover
- Progress we're making money-wise
- Progress I'm making on my transcription stuff (Working on Mail-In Reports today!)
- Tom's emotional progress - we had over 70 mph winds and hail with a storm a few nights ago (ripped down a few big branches behind our fence), and he was calm and the complete opposite of panicked
- The absolutely wonderful conversation I had with my Mom yesterday - it was great to catch up with her, and I was thrilled to hear she's met someone - it was really nice to just chat
- My family in general - I've gained so much in my life because they have been a part of it - ALL of them - I'm so proud of them and happy for them and love them so much
- My health - it could be sooooo much worse
- My marriage - Tom means so much to me and does so much for me as a husband. I'm so glad we're able to communicate with each other and grow with each other
- The country I live in and the freedoms we're allowed. And, with that in mind, I'm also grateful for:
- My church and the welcome I receive any time I want to get involved. I sang in the choir the other night for the first time since Christmas and it made me feel so good
- Our animals and how much laughter they bring to our house
- The "intactness" of our house after the storm the other night - God's watching us
- Fridays and Date Nights! :)
- All of my online friends. Thank you so much for welcoming me into your world and calling me "friend" - it has helped me so much to have people to talk to and relate to while working from home these long months. Thanks.
Have a great weekend, Everyone! Love to family!
