I've been busy this morning
I got ALL of the painting done for the bathroom. Now, all that's left is to clean up edges and replace fixtures. VERY cool! Sorry I don't have pictures, but you wouldn't be able to see much - it used to have peeling wallpaper everywhere and now the top area is bright white and the bottom is a light blue to match the tile. The pics I showed of the wall with the shelves really showed the most changes.
The experiment with the shower surround didn't go too well, mainly because I only had one can of spray paint, and to saturate it, I'd really need 4 or 5 of them, and I just don't have the energy to do that. The one can I used gave it a slightly lighter color overall, though, so I'm glad I tried it. The old color was a huge contrast to the tile, so the lighter, slightly speckled color looks much better next to it.
I have paint all over my fingernails and arms. I'm such a messy painter! I think the room looks good, though. I use a ton of cheap white trash bags cut up and spread out whenever I paint if it's too small a space to lay out a real dropcloth.
So, I'm about to work a little more on the budget, then on to studying. Hope everyone's having a great Wednesday!
