Me vs. The Budget

I have been working very hard on redoing our budget to incorporate the money we'll now have because the car's paid off. I wasn't able to be as generous to our date nights and the various savings accounts as I'd hoped, but I was able to boost them quite a bit. And, in a few months, our regular checking will start GROWING (gasp!) instead of deflating every month. That will be quite something. I don't know that that has ever happened before - me alone or with Tom. It will be very nice to see that happen. Of course, soon after it does, we'll probably need to readjust the savings and other budget points to make sure we're taking advantage of it instead of just wasting it while on newly-found excitement highs. :)
