The light's peeking out...

I can see the positive future ahead of us. It's close and it's promising. Tom and I both are starting to feel it again - feel the energy, feel the fun, feel the freedom, of being able to DO things again. It's such a freeing sensation, and it feels so good. We're both creeping up on a positive attitude I think we thought we'd lost. I can see it in his eyes, and I can feel it in mine.

I am grateful today for:

• Tom being the one I've gone through this swampy period of life with - I don't know how I would've survived it with anyone else or on my own. He truly is a blessing.
• That the swampy period is draining away, and showing us some sunshine.
• That the things we like to do aren't extravagant, so improving our standard of living won't use all the extra we'll have access to.
• That today is a new day, and I'm excited about it!

Thank you, God, for this postiiveness I'm feeling. Please let it continue to flow. It feels good.
