Christmas Shopping - Done!

Hi there, Everybody. Well, I have done ALL of my Christmas shopping - everything I wanted to get for Tom, stuff for the kids we mail gifts to, stuff for the kids here and our trade name people here. I feel *really* good about it this year. I can't believe we were able to have such a nice Christmas. God has just watched over us this past year and made sure we had a little here, a little there. I got paid for jury duty, even though I wasn't selected, we got a nice oil check (Tom is like 1/64th owner of a single oil rig somewhere in WV - no idea through who or whatever - every few months - maybe every quarter? - we get a check for like $12 or something - this time it was over $100 - *very* helpful). God always does that for me. All my life I've struggled with finances, and God has always made sure I was okay. It's really nice to be able to mail gifts to the kids (all my nieces and nephews from my family) - I thought we wouldn't be able to this year. The gifts for the kids here are not as nice as I'd hoped to do, but I did what I could with a budget. It'll be okay. We're not the only ones they'll get gifts from. :)

I'm also keeping on track with the food (I haven't had a Dr Pepper in 2 weeks!) and I walked Abby today - a nice one up the hill to the park and back through the alley. The weather is like Indian summer outside today - snow's melted & it must've been upper 50's - I didn't even wear a jacket. She loved it. She sniffed every pile of leaves we came across. :)

Okay, I'm on to studying! Another thing I'm doing better at - yay, me! *LOL*
