I'm so friggin' sick of feeling nauseous. Most of my day has been taken up by being sick today. I'm *really* sick of this nausea/vomiting at random times thing. It's so reminiscent of the first day of my period when I was a teenager before I got on the pill, but it seems to be happening like a week or so after my period ENDS. WTF? I'm having ANOTHER procedure done this Wednesday (endoscopy) to rule out one other thing that might be causing the nausea, but I'm pretty tired of being poked and prodded. This makes the third procedure this year that I've had to have anesthesia for, and I react to being knocked out with... guess what? Severe nausea. Fun. Ugh. I'm so not looking forward to this.
Tom suggested something this morning (after watching me run to the bathroom a second time)... what if we consider just putting me back on the pill? Maybe it just has to do with my hormones not knowing what end is up if they're not regulated. The reason we haven't tried this is the reason I got off the pill to begin with over a year ago - it raises my triglycerides, which, if you've read here before, you might remember seem to stay high no matter what type of diet/habit changes I make, and they've recently DOUBLED my dosage of meds for them. Not good. But, I've tried some other methods of b/c (that wouldn't have to go through my liver) and have reacted badly to them. *sigh* I'm just so sick of this random nausea. It feels like it's female-related, but is happening at weird times, and the nausea happens all over the place, but seems the most severe (like, resulting in vomiting almost every time) at this weird, not quite mid-month time. Blech.
Hate this.
