You Happy Me :)
Tom and I had a wonderful Christmas this year. We celebrated ours together on the 23rd. My humongous gift was a NEW CAMERA! WooHoo! Of course, I immediately took like 75 pics of the animals. :) You know, to, um, practice. :)
So I wouldn't flood your Friends Page with photos (though the # of photos is nowhere near 75, I promise :) ), I've put the rest of the post .
Here are just a FEW of the pics of the kids (read: animals) opening their presents:
Chloe - You can't really see what's going on here, but she has a few catnip toys wrapped in a little bit of ribbon that she's batting. She's getting up in years, so it was cool to see her play:
Abby - We put her stuff in wrapping or tissue paper with one piece of tape - She LOVES ripping the paper off!:
I *finally* finished refurbishing (can you call it that if all I did is sand and paint?) the entertainment center. Here are some pics of the final product:
I LOVE my new photo wall in the living room! I put it above the newly spiffied entertainment center. I so love being surrounded by family! (Note: I DO realize their alignment isn't perfect in a few areas - I'm working on allowing myself to be okay with that :) ):

Hosting Christmas Eve for his family went really well. I convinced everybody to play a game - woot! (Catch Phrase, if you're interested) Abby had a blast sniffing the whole world and begging (bad girl!) and generally just being a soft ball of cute! We closed Chloe up in my office so she wouldn't get nervous with all the people around. I promised everybody the pics I took were for practice, so I won't post them. :) But, just wait til the next family gathering!
