Humane Society Volunteer Orientation
Hey guys!
Well, I went to my orientation for volunteering at the Humane Society today. So cool! I thought that I'd be doing "grunt" work for the most part, but it's just the opposite! The paid employees do all the dirty work. What they want the volunteers to do is all the socializing and cuddling. We get to do the fun stuff! When I heard that, I felt bad, but I'm sure they get in their fun time, too. :) So, I'm going to go in probably twice a week for a few hours and walk the dogs and cuddle the cats, basically just love the heck outta' them while I'm there. I'm so happy to be doing this. What a fun way to donate my time! Yay! I'll let you know how many we adopt in the first month... I mean.... JK. :)
