Tom's Office/Guest Room project
Hey Everybody!
I've been spending quite a bit of time lately working on Tom's office. My dad and stepmom are spending some time with us after Christmas, and between all the stuff for the pets that we've done in my office, it was logical to give them Tom's office. The only problem was that it was an icky orange color and badly in need of new paint (and, it needed bedroom furniture instead of Tom's computer desk, etc. - we took care of that in steps over the last few weeks, and *finally* finished that this weekend). So, I used paint we already had and *attempted* to get some colors that Tom requested for his office. He originally wanted maroon and dark gray, and we ended up with a purplish-brown and a light blue-gray. Oh, well. :) Best I could do. At least, it's DONE now!

On a different note, I wanted to share a few cute animal pics with you. Sorry for the fuzziness - focus issue again. First, Abby came in to visit me in my office one day last week, and instead of lying on the floor, she "fluffed" and then laid down inside the box that Chloe had used in a previous pic I've posted here. TOO adorable. She could barely lie down, it was so small.
And, I don't like pics of myself, especially not when I'm in "house project" mode (and hurting and sore and tired), but I thought the fact that my sitting on the floor in the kitchen didn't stop the "kids" from curling up on me was friggin' hilarious. (And, yes, those are the bottom cabinets I haven't gotten to yet. *sigh*)
