These #@!%)*&%'ing Reports!
I dawdled my day away again, so I MADE myself study this evening to make up for it. I actually get some quality studying in right after dinner, so it's productive.
Anyway, I was busy creating a bigger and better house plan on my wonderful 3D Home Design software. I've made more than a dozen of them, perfecting them (or trying to) as I gain experience with the program. I only have one aspect of it loaded, so I'm not doing carpet and wallpaper, stuff like that, but I can place furniture, appliances, counters, doors, windows, stairs, that type of thing. I LOVE playing with it, and um, that's why I end up going back to it instead of studying. *sigh* I'm so bad. Both my SIL and hubby said I should excuse myself of my occasional goof-off day, but it just makes me mad that I do it to myself. Anyway, the plan is uber cool. I've been working on an idea of a "U" shaped home, with the house surrounding the pool in the backyard. I know I've posted a pic before, but this one is even more complex. You probably won't be able to see much in these pics, but here's the 1st floor:
And the 2nd floor (just above the right side of the "U" and the garage):
Here they are with some (hopefully) larger labeling:
Sorry if you still can't see them well. I have no idea how to make them bigger without making them too big to post.... *sigh*
And, yes, that does say bowling alley. My hubby has decided he wants one. What? As long as we're building our dream house... :)
Soooooo.....
As I was saying, I MADE myself study tonight, and I finally finished the !@#&*%^*&'ing report. It's an autopsy report. Those are notoriously long. This one was 5 pages, almost completely of text. Blech! I hope I don't work for the morgue! Anyway... I *finally* finished it, and I did the spell check and the runthrough of all my format stuff - make sure things are aligned properly, take out my hint text - it's almost like programming, since I've created all these reports as forms that I just have to fill out. I digress... I've been doing a lot of that today.
Arrgh! Anyway... I finished it, checked superficial stuff, and I still have to listen again to the tape and make sure I didn't miss anything or put a wrong word or number. I had hoped to be on a near week-a-lesson schedule, but it looks like some sections are going to be disagreeable about the whole thing. So, I'll be finishing up double-checking the LAST Mail-In Report of Lesson 2 tomorrow, so I'll (dare I say hopefully?) be working on Course 5 (of 5) Lesson 3 (of 10) tomorrow.
