Irony
In the purest sense of the word.
Went to the employment place for some kind of course about getting and maintaining a job. Mostly bollocks but I have a few things that I'll be doing in the next few days. The best part however was that they had us turn off our phones so I stuck mine in my purse on silent. When three o'clock rolled around and we were dismissed I pulled it out again... only to find that I had a missed call from the centre where I substitute. Of course I don't have the extension that I need to call, so I had to wait another hour before I could call back.
And then the supervisor is in a meeting. I'm waiting for a callback now to find out what the message was for.
Here I am trying to get a proper job and I miss a call from the temp one I have.
