Finally, a reason to celebrate: Double guard ends tomorrow morning. I think it would be best if you don't ask how I managed to wrangle that out of Dawlish. New schedules should have arrived via owl by now, though they are subject to change. You'll be happy to note that there are no more double shifts. Drinks on Savage Wednesday evening for those not on patrol or busy. And no, Dawlish won't be there. He's on patrol. Hah.

Not sure how I feel about this, though. At least when I was suffering work-induced insomnia, or falling asleep on the couch, I didn't have to think about things. But there's the harrowing fact that I'm still here in this world alone. No parents, no lover, no children...
