Picspam first, real entry later!
A sunset out my bedroom window, taken a few weeks ago--sometime in mid-September.
For Lauren's (one of my classmates) birthday, some of the producers took her to a Mexican restaurant for lunch. There were sombreros (and possibly tequila) involved.
Visiting with Joan and Dale (my aunt and uncle) last week. There are pictures of us with Don and Milly, too, but Joan hasn't sent those to me yet, so for the moment, this is the only one I've got.
And then... in Calgary for Thanksgiving weekend! Of course, the only place I pulled out my camera was at Kat and Aaron's house last night, so there are mostly cute-kid pictures. Surprise, surprise, hey? ;o)
Kat and I, just being silly.
Colin and I with the kids. I'm highly amused by the fact that we even look somewhat color-coordinated, although it was (obviously) completely unplanned. Kat said that between this picture and the picture of us with Gunther, we're getting all kinds of good family pictures with our friends' kids!
Just chillin' after a long weekend of family togetherness. A good weekend of family togetherness, but there was much family and much food, and it was nice to just hang out.
Kat and Jake have fun with self-portraits.
Blowing kisses with Kayla. Big, open-mouthed, exaggerated kisses; hence, I look like a fish.
More kisses! (Doesn't she look so ladylike, especially in her leopard-print?)
Jakob hasn't quite figured out that he needs to sit still until the flash has stopped flashing! I'm amused by little kids who are so used to seeing pictures as soon as they're taken and have absolutely no concept of waiting for them to be developed. I suppose that's one of those "When I was your age..." things for the next generation.
And that was my weekend in a very small nutshell. I'll write a real entry later; in the meantime, I've still got to unpack.
