Ideas stuck in neutral

Nov 28, 2008 22:21

I recently had a great idea for a website.  And it will remain an idea until someone invents it on their own and has more ambition / ability to make my idea a reality.  I'm pessimistic about making such a website a reality becuase:

- It requies a good amount of data mining and organization.  And not the kind of data mining that can be done with a cool piece of software.  This is the kind that requires man hours.  Man hours I just don't have.

- I have no idea how to make money on the interweb.  Frankly, if I was going to put that much time into a website, I'd like the get paid for my efforts.  Screw the common man who would benefit from the useless information my website would provide.  I'm greedy that way.
