(no subject)
As I sit here at 10 am I realize that I really don't want to go to work today. LOL. That is usually not a problem with me. Well I haven't updated in forever, but I have had quite a busy summer. I went on my annual beach trip with my family and had an absolutely wonderful time. Sammy went with me which was totally awesome because during the school year I really missed my Sammy. Amanda and Steven came down to visit for a day and I really wish I could've spent more time with them but I'm really glad they came. Then it was time to go home and I have to work almost every day. As the summer has progressed I have helped my sister and her roommate restore one of my parent's rental houses that has been empty for two years. Some kids in the neighborhood decided it made for a cool hangout so they busted out all the windows and busted holes through all the walls. The hole from the living room to the first bedroom was about the size of an entertainment center. It was huge. However it is all patched up and we just have to finish painting. Then I went on an absolutely fabulous road trip with Amanda and Sammy. We travelled to Arlington, Virginia; Washington, D.C.; Wall, New Jersey; Red Bank, New Jersey; and New York City. OMG it was fabulous. I cannot believe I did so much travelling in five days. I have figured out that I am going to be a world traveller. I have so many places I want to see. Goodbye Fayetteville, Hello somewhere exotic. LOL. Well then reality hit and I had to come home again. Since then Food Lion has promoted me to an office assistant which means I work Customer Service and I count everyone's till at the end of their shift. Well I am midshift so I just help. I run the front while the closing office is on lunch and while she does her deposit. And I have keys to override stuff on the registers. All in all it's a pretty good position but it's just until I go back to school. I work 11-8 every day I work. I am clocking about 41 hours a week minimum. It is crazy. But the money is a nice change. Well it's about that time, I need to quit procrastinating and go to work. Food Lion waits. I'll try to update more later. I've pretty much got my whole summer into a paragraph, that is lame.
