I've got a coffee on its way. A venti pumpkin spice latte.
Oh. Oh. Oh.
I haven't had a venti Starbucks coffee in... man I can't even remember the last time I had one. I rarely buy coffee any place other than McDonald's or the gas station. It just seems like such a waste of money to me. But this particular cup? $5 bucks extremely well spent if you ask me. $5 bucks extremely well off set by not going out at all two weekends ago, going out once this past weekend, and not going out at all this weekend, too. *sigh* This Christmas gift stuff is exp--
Ooh! My latte just arrived!
I'm almost done with "A Game of Thrones." I want to be Daenarys Targaryen when I grow up. To be 14. And while I love reading about Arya's adventures and think she's an amazing character, I see none of myself in her. I would be Tyrion Lannister's Shea (provided that she remains the way she is) but not his wife, and I would put Lysa Arryn or Tully or whatever she goes by at this point-- her and her whelp!-- over my knee then push them through the Moon Door. I'd take Cersei Lannister over that bitch any day. At least Cersei *thinks* about her agenda...
50 pages left and then I get to start Book Two!
That whole "12 Days of Christmas" thing starts today. If that means anything to anyone. Lord knows it means nada to me. Well, except that I have 11.5 days left to wrap Christmas presents.
Speaking of which: You're my friends. I love (or tolerate) you all, but I only bought gifts for a handful of non-family folks this year- Alexis, Jenny, and James. Sorry dudes. Just wanted to let you know so you didn't feel bad about not getting me anything either.
