It appears Mitsuhide and I fell asleep unexpectedly, for an unnatural passage of time.

I've noticed that the number of locals has halved since I was last out in the streets. What happened? Did those beasts turn on us?

Motochika! You're awake at last! Are you and father alright? [ /hnngh so worried ;; ]

[behisstrength]

We are both fine, so do not worry.

[More importantly:]

I have heard there was an attack. Are you unharmed, Gracia?

[kagayakashi]

I watched over you two as best I could. I'm really glad nothing happened to you and to father.

[ She nods gravely. ]

There were a lot of attacks before the final one. The dinosaurs...they started attacking the locals. [ A sad frown. ] I saved those I could, but they have such thick hides. [ And for a hand-to-hand fighter, even with the use of magic, it was a difficult task. ] The three biggest, most dangerous dinosaurs appeared at the end of the week. All of us had to fight as a team to protect the city! They're gone now, thank goodness.

[ Gracia glanced at her bandaged hands and laughed~. ] I'm fine! I've handled much worse than this!

[behisstrength]

I am certain that you have. Yet it appears to be the hardest battle that Vatheon has fought.

[Mild amusement colours his tone.]

If you stubbornly bear any wounds, keep in mind that it is better for you to approach your father and make them known than it is for him to confront you.

[kagayakashi]

Those creatures can't be taken lightly at all. I'm not surprised if it is the hardest battle.

[ She pouts. ]

Father doesn't need to do that. They're bandaged up and everything! [ Swelling hasn't subsided but hey, nothing a little ice can't fix :C ]

[behisstrength]

What injuries have you taken?

You cannot prevent his fussing. [He laughs lightly.] You shall always be his precious daughter.

[kagayakashi]

My hands hurt, and there's a small cut on my leg, but those are it!

[ ...boooo :( That makes her feel guilty. ]

I just wanted to protect you two while you were asleep.

[behisstrength]

[D: don't feel guilty, Gracia! The amusement in his tone shifts to calm reassurance.]

We are grateful for it. That those beasts were defeated... that your father and I are alive and well opposed to eaten... you won a considerable victory, did you not?

[kagayakashi]

[ I DID IT FOR LOVE! She smiles a bit. That is true... ]

It is a victory, especially because all the people I care for are alright. I'd fight them all over again if it meant you and father and all my friends will be safe.

[behisstrength]

I am proud of you, Gracia.

Will father be angry that I fought against the dinosaurs, Motochika?

[behisstrength]

He will not be angry with you -- [a short pause, because Gracia's question is astute.] -- but he may be upset that you went into danger alone. You know how your father worries.

For now, however, he remains asleep.

[kagayakashi]

[ She sighs knowingly, a smile on her face. Yeah, she's not getting off the hook that easily. And knowing her, she could never lie to Mitsuhide. ]

Well, I fought with a lot of other people in the end...I'll just make it up to him when he wakes up!
