I’ve had this post sitting in my drafts since July 1st. I kind of forgot about it because I hadn’t finished getting the pictures ready that I wanted to post in it. Anyway, here it is.
Almost every summer I manage to injure myself. Never anything serious. I usually just sprain something or pull a muscle or something dumb like that.
I don’t know if I did anything last summer but I think Amanda made up for that lol. (My friend Amanda dislocated her knee when she was on holidays in Ontario and ended up being there for a few months longer than she was supposed to.)
One summer a couple years ago, I was playing catch with the football with my dad and sprained two of my fingers one the same hand lol.
I’ve sprained my ankles a few times. I’ve sprained my wrist once or twice. I’ve never broken anything though. Unless you count my knee cap (but that was in the Winter when I was in grade 6).
The other day, I was playing badminton in the backyard with my parents and I over extended my elbow or something and then I kept playing. So my elbow really hurts now. I thought it was just the muscles for a while but I realized last night that I can’t straighten it as far as my other one. Normally I can. It also hurts to make a fist, but that’s more the muscles lol. Although, I guess part of straightening it is the muscles but it was hurting differently. I don’t know. It’s odd. And it really hurts. Lol.
So, that’s my injury for this summer. Haha.
Something unrelated, sort of… my parents and I drove down to Waterton National Park yesterday. It was kind of cool. Here’s a few pictures. I’ll put more up on Facebook for my friends to take a look at. I also took a few pictures with my film camera, but I didn’t finish the roll of film yet, but when I do I will post some of the pictures probably just on Facebook, unless there’s one I really want to put on here.
Edit: My elbow is pretty much better now. It bothers me once in a while but it’ll be fine soon.
