Find someone to sit with you...
I HAVE RECLAIMED AN INCH! My mum was measuring stuff for my dad with the same fateful tape measure that stole some of my height and I noticed that it was in fact [randomly] 61 inches long. Which means I am actually 5ft 3 8D I was getting a right slagging for it from my family so HA!
Yesterday reminded me why I do not go anywhere with my mother. She drives me up the fucking wall. We were up to get stuff for my dad's 60th and she was also hunting for a navy skirt. And she kept bloody asking me where she'd get one! I just kept repeating myself...I duno...I duno...I duno...Until I eventually burst out: "I know I'm clearly a super genius but I'm not a fucking oracle of retail!" She dragged me round so many crappy shops and I just was so bored. It would be okay if she had told me originally that she wanted to look for the skirt but she hadn't. She does this all the time. Tells me we're going to do one thing and then decides to visit ALL THE SHOPS.
Thankfully I found relatively cheap bowties in Debenhams when she was getting my dad a couple of shirts. I bought a black one with sparkles :D And I bought her and myself some gyoza for the train so it wasn't a total bust.
Caught an episode of Wallander when we got back and were sitting eating a fish supper between us. I ended up having to pause it for ages because my mum ended up on the phone to my dad and kept talking over it. Also tried to point out Tom Hiddleston to her and she was thouroughly unappreciative.
I think it was the last ep of the second series. I absolutely love Kurt. I really haven't gotten attached to the others, but I guess that makes sense because they aren't as heavily featured. I love how he's got this apparent cool confidence, but he is still extremely affected by things. Even as a cop who sees death all the time,. he still gets upset or his adorable reaction to his ex wife showing up at one point. Mr Branagh really is fabulous and I just want to hug Kurt so bad. And of course Magnus but for more curly haired bretheren reasons XD I should just get my ass in gear and watch the 2 or 3 eps I haven't seen yet since the third series has started already. I need to watch the rest of Luther too. This is what Thor did to me. Finally got round to watching random BBC shows I thought looked good but just never watched.
Sorry if there are any major typos in this btw. My little Mac is officially dead so I'm borrowing my dad's laptop since he is away. I've gotten really lazy since my baby gives me the nice red squigly lines of WRONG when I make a mistake :p
