Assemble!

OMFG! The Avengers [not calling it by its title here...:|] was UHMAZING FIIIIILMMM! It feels like it took so long to get here and then it suddenly crept up on me. I had on my Iron Man tshirt, my purple and green skull scarf [for Hulk], my Cap jacket I had for my costume and purple and black make-up for Hawkeye. I took Thor and Loki with me too :)

The cinema was pretty empty despite me expecting it to be super busy. We got perfect seats right in the middle :D I fucking love everyone. Fury, Loki, Thor, Cap, Tony, PEPPER!...EVERYONE. Maria Hill was a little...well not as central as I expected. Tom Hiddleston actually owns my soul. RDJ has had a large chunk of it for a few years now but Tom, OMG. Loki is amazing. Tony was a LOL a minute as always. Actually the whole film was really funny. I didn't expect it to be so hilarious. Even the more serious characters had their moments.

The CGI was fabulous as were the sets and the costumes :D There was a good balance of emotions and action which I also wasn't really expecting. I think the characters got pretty much bang on equal screen time without it feeling crowded or slow.

I want to talk about one thing that is spoilery. It isn't going to ruin the end of the film or anything but it was kinda big. Big to me anyway.

I really really want to hunt down Whedon and pee on everything he loves. He did it. He fucking did what the internet tells me he does and he killed off a fucking fan favourite. HE KILLED MY HOMEBOY COULSON.

Take it away Dean!

I just have no idea wtf was going on there. Well I do. It was a whole LETS MAKE IT PERSONAL THING. He was being his usual hilariously BAMFY self and then Loki stabbed him and it was awful and I gasped and clutched my chest and he was bleeding and it was awful and then he pwned Loki with his big silly gun whilst he was down and then Fury found him and he was doing the whole slow, strained talking thing and and...! And then he just expired! RIGHT IN FRONT OF US! I expected there to be a stupid pause and then he'd be back to life suddenly for the comedy! I honestly thought Fury was lying to them. Mostly because Coulson himself basically said that they needed something like that to happen before they'd all get their shit together and stop being petty. He also took his Cap trading cards [omg presh Captain fanboy that he was is, still totally is in my head! :'(] out of his locker and smeared them in whatever it was to look like blood and showed it to Steve and Tony. CLEARLY TO RILE THEM UP. OMG Philip will cut you when he finds out what you did to his beloved cards! Then he just didn't show again :( THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING! Its like the whole MW3 fiasco all over again. A dark shadow hanging over something so epic and amazing. I can't look at that game without so much as getting rageface because they killed my favourite. So far its been okay because I am just so overwhelmed at the awesome but COOOOUULLSSSOOOOOOONNN!

Just crying and shaking in a corner hoping against hope he'll be okay. Like, he'll just show up in one of the other films. Just...just...

I mean they JUST made him comic canon WHY MUST YOU DO THIS MARVEL/JOSS WHEDON?! ARE YOU SECRETLY KRIPKE?! I bet you two killers are bffs and plot who you're going to kill next to that everyone can be heartbroken forever. I said this was going to be like Randy Meeks again! NEVER GOT OVER THAT ONE. WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS.

I need moar. Like nao. Cap 2 and Iron Man 3 are definitely on the cards so yay! I just want to buy the shit out of the Lego now that I've actually seen the film. I want a poster so badly of all of those HAWT HAWT MENZ XD I want a S.H.I.E.L.D tattoo! SPEND MONEY ON ALL OF THE THINGS.
