The Green Day concert was unbelievable! So far, this has been the best concert I have ever attended. Billy Joe Armstrong is the most amazing guitarist I have ever seen; I really want his tie. They need to come back NOW. It's so hard to describe because I'm lost for words; it was that good. I wasn't too familiar with My Chemical Romance, but they were pretty good, too. I also got knocked into a few times; we were standing on the outer circle of two(and weak if I may add)mosh pits, but I didn't get seriously hurt. It was a good time:-)
The premiere for Come Listen All was yesterday, and it went alright. The song was composed on the emphasis of a poem, which I admit that I like, but I didn't like how the song was composed or how the notes and different keys were arranged. It was meant more so for a band/orchestra rather than a chorus, but I just had to grin and bear it. The chamber chorus sang Pie Jesu, which is one of my favorite songs, and everyone performed remarkably well. I wish I could have sang it.
