First day back
First Day of School: School starting is pretty sweet because at least for the first week, we don't really do much of anything. We have syllabus distributions and crap like that, but its not really work. We got parts in orchestra here's the lay out of our first concert... Sans Rachel!!! (yay).

So far I think its fair except I would switch Mark and Renita on Beethoven. I really wanna be part nazi. Every semester I've been here there's been one, and now that its MY turn, we have Carnahan and we get assigned stuff. Oh well... i get the big pieces, and I will take them forever more, and I don't care what people say. Its my turn. I didn't get the shaft for 3 years on parts to not get principal parts when I'm principal.
My A Clarinet update: I talked to Tom and he said I could come down this week sometime at night and he could either fix it really quick... or keep it a while and pin the crack. I'm just gonna invest the time and have him fix it. I'll probably go up there tomorrow night.
Unrelated Update: This whole life is getting really expensive for me. Here's a break down of the things I'm wasting money on recently:
1. My buddies ipod - $125 (good deal!)
2. My other buddies monitor - $100ish (also a good deal)
3. Parking permit - $98
4. Groceries - $100ish
5. Clarinet Repairs - $100-300
6. Summer Program App fees - $300-400 no joke... i'm apply to tons of them.
By wasting I mean NOT SAVING for my Eb clarinet. Also, Grego told me he hates my Bb he kepts telling me to buy a new one. He'd rather I do that than buy an Eb. I totally wouldn't. Especially since I can solve intonation issues with adjustments... barrels... lipping... etc. However, I found someone who will buy my Bb for 1,500, and then I'd only need 1,000 more to buy a new Bb all together... So i might just do that AND buy an Eb... or buy the Bb first then the Eb (since I can't find an Eb to buy anyway) or visa versa. I know I'm heard more on Bb and that's Grego's argument, but I have no Eb experience and really really want one. Any advice?
