Crunch week

Dec 13, 2006 09:02

This is the last week of school... it always seems to sneak up on me because I can't plan ahead more than a few hours. Here's a quick summary of shit i'm up to.

Last week:
1. gig with Hayan, she NEVER stops talking.
2. Wrote 5 papers, they were all pretty boring.
3. Had a really good Shostakovitch performance on Sunday, should have played Mvt 3 on Bb because it was a much easier key for the solo.
4. I am really close to having the cash for an Eb right now!
5. Sax player barrowed an expensive mouthpiece of mine for way too long, and gave it back scratched (asshole).

This week:
1. No more flute methods, except the final.
2. Did my taiko performance and it was soooo much fun, I'm going to see Kodo in February hopefully. I wish I were Japanese.
3. No more Music Cultures except the final.
4. Today is my last day of actual full school, next week is full of half days.
5. Jury is Friday.
6. Rehearsals today include 1 for me for Copeland with accompaniment, 1 for singer for Shepard with accompaniment, and 1 for Jimmy's lame ass trio for Robin Cox's class.
7. I have to make up 4 Stanford labs this week. I can do 2 today, 1 Thursday and 1 Friday and I'll be fine
