Baby Age sucks

I received a response to the email I sent to Baby Age yesterday.

Dear Phoebe -

Thank you for your email regarding order number 385815. I apologize for the
delay in shipping your order out to you but unfortunately there was a slight
delay in processing. We would not be able to extend free shipping on this order
simply because our items are priced to be highly competitive and our shipping
cost to you is only $5.95, a fraction of what the actual cost would be for
shipping on an item of that size and weight.

Thank you -

As you can imagine, I was not pleased with their response. I replied with this email.

Because Baby Age was responsible for the delay, my order should have been
expedited, at Baby Age's expense, in order to arrive within the same promised
time frame. Had I known it would be an additional week before I received my
shipment, I never would have placed the order despite the "highly competive"
pricing. Competitive pricing is not an incentive when it is paired with shipping
delays or mediocre customer service. As I cannot purchase anything from Baby Age
with confidence, no return business will be received from me. I will also
recommend that my friends follow my example.

It is now my quest to ensure that this is the most expensive $5.95 they ever make. I forgot to mention in my email that the carseat was only $1-2 less than any other store. Sure their flat rate shipping was competitively priced and my reason for choosing their store, but, obviously, you get what you pay for. So if you value time or money, don't order anything from Baby Age EVER!!!
