General first impressions of each class (hopefully I'll look back on this in a month or so and laugh at my own silly worries):

Drama - love love love the teacher. The few people I know in this class are only acquaintances, though some are nice. There is a gaggle of "popular" girls who I know will continue to irritate me throughout the year. My crush from last year is in this class.

Math - good teacher with a sense of humour. The guy who's been bothering me nonstop for 2 years, Charlie, sits directly behind me, though he seems to have calmed down somewhat. Mishi's crush from last year is in this class with me & seems very cute & funny (she was right). The girl who I've suspected likes me is also in this class.

History - great teacher, GREAT bunch of people (including Emily, Kaiya, & a bunch of people I know & love from last year). The teacher is leaving in a month on maternity leave (she's 8 months pregnant & huuuge), but her replacement is apparently going to be this fabulous lady who briefly taught us Shakespeare last year who I LOVED, so that should be okay.

English - I sit with Kaiya. My crush from last year is in this class. The teacher is magnificent; I'm an instant huge fan of him. Should be a great class.

Vocal - our actual teacher has been away, so I haven't met her yet, though the sub was entertaining enough (he says he lives in a log cabin in the woods with his cats). Mishi's in this class, so it should be fine.

Science - I have the incredible Ms Labancz again, who I absolutely love, so I know it'll be a good year. I sit with Emily and a girl I know-ish from last year.

French - ehh. Asia's in this class but she sits with someone else so it's a bit awkward. The teacher is nice enough, though inclined toward group creative projects which is only good when I have a lot of friends in the class (not the case).

Personal fitness - oh my god. I don't know anyone, and it's all running & swimming & weight-lifting & aaaahhhh. I'll just go on autopilot & try not to feel the emotions.
