Weird shit: Mishi is pansexual!
I was SHOCKED! Well, not really, but she seems like just about the straightest girl on the face of the earth.
She got back from camp yesterday and we spent today together, telling stories. Apparently we've both had some sort of personal awakening during our month apart.
I think, in some ways, she keeps me in the role of "masculine protector," and in the same way, I keep her in the role of "feminine victim." I don't know how we do it, or why, but we do. So when we're apart for extended periods of time, we tend to "find ourselves." It's wonderful.
It was the moment I'd dreamed of, to sit down with Mishi and have her ask me to tell her everything about my own sexuality and how I'd figured it out. We identified that she is not bisexual but pansexual; that she can only be attracted to people who are dominant over her in some way; that this girl, the one who "changed her for the better" (Wicked reference!), is deeply fabulous.
It's amazing, the experimentation & wild changes that go on at this age.
