JD disappeared around May. There was a Rift shock that led to the Conrad's destruction. It took a lot of people with it.

He could. The Rift is unpredictable. It could bring back the same version of JD or another one that might not know us. I don't want to give you false hope but--yeah, it could happen.

He might not be dead. The Rift shocks killed some, simply took others. Took 'em back home, or took 'em somewhere else. I wish I could tell you exactly what happened.
