Halloweekend!
Finally pics from Halloween. I'm glad we went out partying Saturday night because it gave me an excuse to have 3 costumes, and then by Sunday I wasn't tempted to stay out too late. So Saturday night's party was called Bang On! and happened in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Apparently this is the new 'in' thing right now, warehouse parties. I found this bobbysoxer costume for cheap and didn't think I'd get to wear it until next year - the first one I've seen that wasn't pink! Boo-ya.
First, I have to show off the saddle shoes because they're real. Luckily I brought along a spare pair of shoes because as the night progressed these little babies fell right apart.
And somebody asked me if I was Bettie Page with the bangs.
Which made me squee a little.

Did I mention it was in a warehouse? The weird thing was the floor was dirt. Meaning mud and puddles of water. Totally grimy and...just hipster heaven. I kind of wanted to go up here to get out of the muck :)

Then Sunday was the parade and I am so glad we went early. I didn't get a lot of pics because I was posing for a lot, but everyone loved the Hello Kitty head. I made it out of paper mache and it was a little heavy, but all the little Asian girls wanted pictures with me. And Channel 11 talked to me live, which I wish I could have seen, but hey. Can't complain. It was an awesome time!
